Hive Social Lab has had a great year working with Interscope Records and I’m grateful we’re the photo booth company they decided to hire for their office holiday party. Our projects with Interscope Records have brought us to the Palm Springs Desert for the Coachella Festival and now to Soho House Malibu also known as Little Beach House Malibu.
New Photo Booth Trend
This holiday season we introduced a new feature called Digital Props, it’s a new trend in photo booth props. The great thing about our digital props is if you’ve used Snapchat filters, then you’ll already be familiar with them. For this office holiday party, we hooked them up with digital versions of the popular Christmas photo booth props along with several funny ones as you can see below.
A few things we love about these photo booth props is there’s nothing to break since they’re digital! Also, there’s no mess of props to clutter at your events. But If you’re more of a traditionalist, and love holding actual props we suggest these highly rated Christmas photo booth props from Amazon that won’t break the bank.
Whenever I use the photo booth at corporate events where the photo booth is used as a marketing tool to create branded photos, I often wish I could get a photo with no logos because of the high-quality camera and studio lighting. Since this event was an office holiday party for the team at Interscope Records and not a marketing event I also offered a plain photo option without borders and logos. As you browse through the online album you’ll see that the plain photo booth photo was a popular choice for most guests.
Photo Strips. Bye Bye.
One of the things I love working with clients such as Interscope Records and Beats by Dre is how they challenge me creatively to create branded content outside the expectations of a photo booth. For an upcoming project, one of the heads of A&R at Interscope Records has always wanted to create real postcards from a photo booth where one side is the photo and the other side is an official postcard. I’m happy to share that I’ve figured out the solution and if all goes well, Hive Social Lab will be back in Palm Springs for Coachella live printing postcards for Interscope. It’s creative opportunities like this that push the boundaries of a photo booth but also creates new products and services for all of our clients. Come back to the blog and follow us on Instagram @hivesociallab to see how the postcards turned out!
Until then thank you for reading and if you’re interested in creating visually cool branded content to market your company’s product send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
